EDUCATION FOUNDATION and POUNDING THE PAVEMENT TEAM UP TO RAISE FUNDS Today the Cedar Bluffs Education Foundation and Pounding the Pavement are introducing a new and exciting fundraiser that we are going to continue throughout the school year and beyond. It is called Scrip and it will allow us to raise money without families having to spend more than they normally would each day! Scrip is "shopping cart fundraising" whereby families can purchase gift cards from over 700 retailers for everyday purchases like food, clothing, entertainment, and gas from us at face value. Each student in the school will be bringing home a brief letter and an order form. Every Friday, each family in our school will receive an order form. The order forms, with payment, will be collected every Monday. Each family will receive the gift cards they ordered on Friday of the same week! For members of the community that do not have children in the school, order forms are always available in both the elementary and middle/high school offices. The deadline for orders each week will be Monday at 3 PM. If you have any questions about the program, please call (402-628-2080) or email Mr. Brousek (email@example.com). We always appreciate the support the families and community give to our students!

Received from the Athletic Director @ Clarkson-Leigh High School. "This is Troy Holmberg from Leigh High School. I was at the junior high football game today in Cedar Bluffs. I wanted to share with you a positive moment involving one of your students." "When my wife and I arrived in Cedar Bluffs, I forgot where the field was located. As I drove by the high school, we asked a student if she could give us directions. She asked if we would rather just follow her vehicle. We did so, and she drove us straight to the field. She did not appear to be going to the game, as she did not enter the complex. We were impressed that she was willing to assist us in this manner." "I do not know her name, but she was driving a white car. I think the car may have been a Saturn model. If my information is accurate and her identity can be determined, could you please convey my gratitude for her assistance." Thank you to this unknown Cedar Bluffs student for their kindness and generosity!
