Susan Skinner our Librarian

Librarian

By Susan Skinner

When in school, Mrs. Skinner is our mild mannered librarian with spectacles, but outside of school she becomes a double clutching, bull-hauler!  In a 600-horse power, 15 speed, 7 axle truck that pulls 95,000 pounds with her husband, they pick up cattle from Wyoming, Montana and the Dakotas.

Mrs. Skinner has 19 years experience in education, three of those in college libraries.  Susan earned her second Masters from Mizzou [University of Missouri at Columbia] in Information Science and Learning Technologies in 2005.

She grew up in Seward, Nebraska. Her residence for all 31 years of her married life has been Craig, Nebraska, where she and her husband have both been “Mayor”.   She has two grown children.  Susan enjoys gardening, swimming, traveling and eating her husband’s gourmet cooking.
