Mr. Vesely shares his lunch box collection

The kindergarten class read the story "I Need A Lunch box". We had several fun activities during the course of the week. On Friday, we had a guest speaker Charles Vesely. Charles brought part of his lunchbox collection. Mr. Vesely gave us the history of lunch boxes. He explained how the early TV shows and movies influenced the designs . He brought some lunch boxes from the 1930’s that were tied with leather. Charles brought two special lunch boxes. A Spider-man lunch box and a Bratz lunch box. He had a raffle with all of the children’s names. Afton won the Spiderman box, and Aaliyah won the Bratz lunchbox. We would like to thank Mr. Vesely for the lunch boxes, and for sharing his collection with us.
