Hands on makes learning fun.

by Patty Brousek

Hands on activities in Science have really helped the third graders understand new concepts.  We are currently studying the effects of weathering and erosion on the earth.  We have enjoyed observing different types of soil.  The students worked together to measure the amounts of water each type of soil would hold and  made predictions on what kind of soil they thought would be best suited for growing plants.
