Track and Field

2005 Graduate, D. Bittner, earned All-American status along with three other relay members after a second place finish at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on May 22-24. The Wesleyan 4 X 100 relay team crossed the finish line with a time of 40.77; the third fastest time in school history.
"It is hard to believe that I am going to be a senior. It seems just like a couple of weeks ago since I was running track at Cedar Bluffs," Bittner laughed.
Next season, Bittner plans to compete in the 60 meter dash, 200 meter dash during the indoor season and in the 100 meter dash and the 400 meter relay during the outdoor season. He may even test out the open 400 meter dash as well as the mile relay.
