Joni Hegy- First Grade/Title1 Reading

Mrs. Hegy began teaching at Cedar Bluffs Elementary School in 1978. She attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where she majored in Elementary Education and Human Development. Mrs. Hegy chose to teach elementary school because she liked working with kids. Her parents were also teachers, which was a big factor for her in pursuing her career. Mrs. Hegy teaches our first grade class and Title 1 Reading. She is also the Boy’s and Girl’s Golf coach. She believes that all students can be successful in her classroom. She also hopes that they enjoy the time they spend in school.
