For all you Nebraska football fans out there, the Cedar Bluffs FBLA chapter is offering you a chance to watch eighth-ranked Huskers in action! We will be auctioning off the tickets at halftime of all home football games this season. Tickets for the South Dakota State game will be up for grabs during the game against Omaha St. Peter Claver on Friday, September 10 th . Also, during Cedar’s homecoming matchup with East Butler on September 24 th , we will be auctioning off tickets for the much anticipated battle with the Texas Longhorns. Rachel Salyers, a 2010 graduate of CBHS, got the chance to participate in the FBLA National Leadership Conference this summer in Nashville, TN. Rachel qualified for NLC by placing fourth in her event, Help Desk, at the Nebraska SLC in April. She, along with Brian Brazeal of Bellevue West, represented Nebraska in the national Help Desk competition. She flew through her first round test and found out she qualified for the finals, which consisted of the top fifteen performers after the first round had been tabulated. At the awards . . . read more
