I graduated from Waverly High School in 1979. Attended Peru State College form 1979-1984 and earned a B.S. in Education. After graduation I was a Physical Education teacher and coach at Elkhorn public schools from 1984-1988. From 1988 to 1993 I was a recreation specialist at the Lincoln Correctional center. I have been teaching for Cedar Bluffs public Schools from 1993 to the present.
At Waverly I participated in Football and track earning letters in both sports. In 1978 I was an All-state Offensive lineman and was selected to play in the 1979 Shrine bowl. At Peru State I was a four year starter and an all NAIA selection as an offensive lineman.
I enjoy weight lifting, and spending time with my family.
