A Busy February for Kindergarten

February was a very busy month in the Cedar Bluffs Kindergarten classroom. We celebrated the 100th Day of School, Groundhog’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Chinese New Year, George Washington’s Birthday, and it was Dental Health Month and African American History Month. We have been learning new sight words each week. I would encourage all students to practice these sight words each night. We have also been working hard on reading. I send home different books with the students every night. They all need to be reading and practicing sight words at home every night.
