A Welcome to the Fall Activities Season!
The 5th Annual Cedar Bluffs Booster Bash

The Cedar Bluffs Booster Club recently held the 5th Annual Booster Bash to help usher in a new fall sports season.
“Sports” was the theme this year. Those in attendance were treated some cheers by the CBHS cheerleaders, and also got to see a dance performed by the Wildfire dancers donning their football jersey-inspired outfits. Fans also got to meet the golf, volleyball and football teams and their coaches who gave a little preview of their upcoming season.
There were also some fun and exciting activities for students to participate in. Students and faculty got to get up close and personal with some watermelon slices in the watermelon eating contest. Students, with the aid of some Wildfire dancers, got to bust out some moves in a dance contest. They even got to have a very challenging and occasionally violent scavenger hunt. Who knew having a toothbrush in your purse could come in handy?
All in all, I think I can speak for everyone by saying thank you to the generous booster club for providing such a fun event for the whole school to get to participate in. It was a great way to for everyone to wish good luck to the fall sports teams, and a great way for everyone to just get together and have some fun.
Come out and cheer on your Wildcats sports teams. The football team plays Friday, August 27th at home versus Omaha Concordia and on Friday, September 10th at home versus Omaha St. Peter Claver. The Wildcats volleyball team will be kicking off the season on Thursday, September 2nd at the East Butler triangular in Brainard. The girl’s golf team started out their season on Thursday, August 26 at the Syracuse Invite, and continue it on Thursday, September 12th at the Elmwood-Murdock Invite.
