Cedar Bluffs Public Schools Open House On Tuesday, March 4th , Cedar Bluffs will be hosting an open house. Our goal is to get families to visit the school and see firsthand all the opportunities Cedar Bluffs has to offer! This event will be for all members of the surrounding communities, including current students as well as possible new enrollment students, and their friends and families. We will be serving dinner in the cafeteria at 6 pm. There will be a bouncy house, animated story tellers, and fun games for the kids. There will also be raffles and opportunities to win prizes! Students in grades 3-5 were given a MAP assessment to check their progress in the areas of Math, Reading, Language Arts, and Science. These tests are given in the fall, winter, and spring. After the winter assessments, students were awarded medals for meeting benchmark in each area. Students that made progress were also awarded with certificates. One student was also awarded a "Most Improved" medal for having the highest improvement scores on these winter assessments. Congratulations to all of our students! read more
Participants, parents/guardians, and chaperons participating in Pounding the Pavement III - Boston and Plymouth will have a meeting at 7 PM in the school library on Tuesday, March 4th. It is important that all those involved in this year's adventure attend the meeting. Forms will need to be signed. Guidelines for the trip will be discussed. The itinerary will also be covered.
