Superintendent Weekly Press Release April 10, 2020

Dear Cedar Bluffs Families,

As of April 9th, Nebraska has seen 523 cases of COVID-19 with 14 deaths as a result. Governor Rickets has indicated that he feels the peak will be in late April. We continue to do our best to delivery remote learning with the desire to be able to celebrate Prom and Graduation later in the summer. Please look for a survey to be coming out next week, to all our Senior students regarding options for Prom and Graduation as we truly would like your input.

Cedar Bluffs High School Wildcat Football Stadium lights will be lit up at 8:20pm on April 15th. This is a National movement called, “Lights of Hope” and is intended to remind students and student athletes that although we are not in the school buildings or participating in student activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, they are still on our hearts and minds and we deeply care about them and what they have sacrificed this year. The lights will remain on for 20 minutes to honor the Class of 2020. Homeowners are asked to turn on their porch lights during the same time. #WildcatPride

Happy Holidays and Stay Safe
