Superintendent Weekly Press Release April 17, 2020

Dear Cedar Bluffs Families,

Last week, we were asked to shut down our community wellness center and playground. We have put up signs and caution tape. Three Rivers Health stated that playgrounds seem to be one of the areas that are not being cleaned or disinfected and as children play on the devices, the virus is spread through contact of equipment. I also noticed the village took down the basketball goals from the basketball courts last week.

Commissioner Bloomstead from the Nebraska Department of Education is doubtful that schools will be able to provide in person summer school as concerns continue to escalate that a restart too early could ignite a secondary spread of the virus.

Please stay strong, stay safe and continue to “Be the Light” for our 2020 graduates. #WildcatPride
