"Stone Soup" Performance
The second graders have read different versions of the classic
folktale Stone
Soup . It was originally written in 1947 by Marcia Brown.
It is the tale of three clever soldiers who trick villagers
into thinking that soup can be made from a stone. It

Psychology sleep in class!
Psychology students, while studying a unit on "Altered States of
Consciousness", took part in an experiment using relaxation
techniques.
Students learned how to create a "trigger" to help them
relax. In this case it was placing the first
