Parents and/or guardians:

As you know, Saturday evening, April 10th, Cedar Bluffs will hold its junior-senior prom at the high school from 8:30 – 11:30.  We are elated that students will get to enjoy this special event and we wanted to remind you of our Prom policies and procedures.

Parents and community members are invited to the Grand March at 7:30 in the high school gym.  Prom King and Queen will be announced at this time. Parents and community members are asked to leave following the Grand March so that students may begin their dance.

Students are allowed to start arriving at 7:00 for the Grand March and 8:00 for the dance.  Doors will be locked at 9:00. If students leave Prom early, parent’s/guardian’s will be contacted.  We will not allow a student leave without permission from a parent or guardian.

Students will randomly be breathalyzed by the Cedar Bluffs Police department as they enter the dance.  Snacks and refreshments will be provided at the dance.  No outside food or drink will be allowed.

Mask will not be required of students as they participate in the Grand March and pictures.  However, masks will be required throughout dance.  Parents, family members, and community members will be required to wear a mask at the Grand March.

Pictures will be taken by Dawn Hansen Photography. There will be no charge for pictures.

Post prom is sponsored by the Junior Class parents and will be held at Camp Calvin Crest. Fo more information regarding Post Prom please contact the Post Prom Committee.
