Our Wildcat Volleyball season has officially come to an end, and we have so much to be proud of! We finished the season with a 15-12 record, but the wins and losses don't tell the whole story. This group of girls worked hard, battled through challenges, and continued to grow throughout the season!
We also had TWO SCHOOL RECORDS BROKEN this year! 🎉
Ruthie Hanzel made Wildcat history! Ruthie broke a school record that had stood for 30 YEARS! She finished the season with an incredible 427 digs, breaking the single-season dig record previously held by Sally Hansen since 1996 ! What an accomplishment!
A TEAM RECORD FOR THE WILDCATS! The Wildcats also broke the school record for most digs in a single match! The previous record of 116 digs was set in 2010. During our home match against Lyons-Decatur, the girls recorded an impressive 118 digs, setting a new school record! Talk about hustle and determination!
We are so proud of the hard work, growth, and heart these girls brought to the court this season. There were plenty of highs, some tough losses, and a whole lot of memories made along the way!
A special thank you to our seniors for everything they have given to this program, our fans for showing up and cheering us on, and everyone who supported Wildcat Volleyball throughout the season!

🍂 The Cedar Bluffs Fall Craft Fair returns for its 3rd year! 🍂
Join us Sunday, November 22, from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM for a day of shopping, snacking, and connecting with our community! Nearly 70 vendors will offer handmade items, baked goods, and so much more.
New this year, we will have Food trucks on-site, located in our bus lane and a supervised Kids Corner with crafts and games! We will also have swag bags for the first 50 shoppers!

🦃 Join us for the 4th Annual Cedar Bluffs Turkey Trot! 🏃♀️
Spend a fun Saturday morning with the Cedar Bluffs High School Track & Field teams, staff, students, families, and community! Whether you want to race your friends, challenge the staff, or enjoy some exercise and catch up with others, there’s something for everyone. Choose between a 1-mile fun run/walk or a 5K run/walk!
Date: Saturday, November 14
Time: Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. - Race starts at 10:30 a.m.
Location: Legion Field
Registration fee: $25
After the race, stick around for Gatorade, water, hot cocoa, fruit, and donuts at the concessions stand!
All proceeds support the Cedar Bluffs High School Track & Field teams. Register by Friday, October 30, to receive a T-shirt! Race-day registration is also available, but T-shirts will not be included.

Mrs. Hansen's Career Development class recently took a field trip to the Valmont Valley campus! They were able to view the welding and manufacturing operations.
The students got a behind-the-scenes look at how Valmont's products are built, discussing the impact manufacturing has on communities across the globe, and highlighting careers ranging from skilled trades and production to engineering and leadership opportunities. Experiences like these are a great way for our students at Cedar Bluffs to see the variety of paths available within the industry.
