Dear Cedar Bluffs Families,
This will be my last press release for the year and I will pick up again next Fall!
Just a recap of everything that is coming up:
This time of year, always seems to fly by, and this spring is no exception. With only 15 days of school left, we’re rapidly approaching the finish line—and then we’ll roll right into summer school, which begins June 2nd. In the midst of Track and Golf seasons, we’re also gearing up for a flurry of end-of-year events that celebrate the hard work and talents of our students:
· April 28: Academic Night & Dare Graduation
· April 29: Fine Arts Night
· May 2: Athletic Banquet
· May 5: Spring Concert for Grades 5–12
· May 7: Elementary Track Day
· May 9: Elementary Talent Show
· May 10: Graduation
· May 15: PreSchool Graduation
· May 16: Kindergarten Graduation
· May 16: Final Day of School (1:30pm Dismissal)
It’s a busy but exciting time, and we look forward to seeing our school community come together to support and celebrate our students. We are so incredibly proud of our students and staff for all they’ve accomplished this year.
Our new elementary principal Mr. Curtis Carlson will be here on May 7th for our elementary track and field day. Please take time to introduce yourself.
Also on May 10th, following graduation, there will be a farewell party in the Auxiliary Gym to honor Patty and Greg Brousek.
Greg, who began serving our district in 1990, and Patty, who joined in 1991, have dedicated over three decades to Cedar Bluffs Public School with unwavering commitment, compassion, and professionalism. Their impact on generations of students, staff, and the broader school community is immeasurable. Please join us as we celebrate their extraordinary careers and the legacy they leave behind.
Have a great weekend- Wildcat Pride!
