Dear Parents, Patrons and Students,
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the tragic loss of Mrs. Sarah Riddle. Sarah was a lifelong member of the Wildcat Family graduating from Cedar Bluffs High School in 1997. Sarah worked as a Preschool Paraprofessional, where she will be deeply missed by our staff and students. We understand that many of you are grieving and we as a school would like to assist with that process. For your reference we have attached handouts on talking with your child about grief. Our deepest sympathies are with Sarah’s family and friends. The school will be open on Monday, May 24th at 10am where crisis counselors will be available for staff, students, and families. Please enter the high school doors and plan to meet in the library. If you are unable to attend the grief session at the school on Monday but would still like to meet with a counselor, please call the school to set up an appointment.
