You're Invited to a Retirement Celebration!
Join us as we honor Greg and Patty Brousek for their incredible journey and all the contributions they've made!!
We hope to see you there!

Mary Tenopir and Judy Harms of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #158 in Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska, recently presented acceptance letters to Breslynn Timmerman and Caitlin Reade, who will represent the unit at the 2025 ALA Cornhusker Girls State. The event is scheduled for June at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
The American Legion Auxiliary Girls State program offers high school juniors a hands-on experience in government operations, aiming to foster responsible citizenship and leadership skills. Delegates are typically nominated by their school counselors and selected through a competitive interview process.
Special recognition is extended to Mr. Brousek for his invaluable assistance in facilitating this opportunity for Breslynn and Caitlin.

You are cordially invited!! This is an evening for all to come and learn what CAP is all about and the tremendous opportunities it offers. CAP is an auxiliary of the US Air Force and is part of the total force in our nation’s national security and disaster response plan. What sets CAP apart is that we are an all volunteer organization that offers adults and young people an opportunity to not only develop skills to augment their personal and professional lives, but also a chance to serve their community in times of need. Students as young as 12-18 years old are eligible to join CAP and begin learning skills and serving their community in ways that most adults could not imagine. Young people also gain eligibility through CAP for scholarships to college or technical training. For those who may have aspirations of serving their country, CAP offers them entry into the service with advanced rank and higher pay at enlistment.
Please extend this invitation to your staff and students. I sincerely hope to see you all at our event for a night of learning, refreshments and fun.
