We wanted to make our community aware that we had a fire alarm go off at the end of the school day today and it was in fact a real fire. Our own Mr. Brinkman was able to put out the fire that was in a trash can near the boys locker room in time, and all protocols were followed and everyone is safe.

Some of our Wildcats art work was showcased at the conference art show this past weekend. Students with the blue ribbon received Superior Awards for their art in the categories of: Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture. This is the highest level of recognition at the art show. These students include: Christine Kotschwar, Emmy Brown, Alyssa Classen, Faith Hansen, Jonnie Marht, Hailey Sickels, Natalie Vasquez, Jaidyn Mann, Carol Cinto, and Ethan Schutt (not pictured). Students with the red ribbon received Excellent Awards for their art in the categories of: Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture. This is the second highest level of recognition at the art show. These students include: Christine Kotschwar, Addyson Redding, Faith Hansen, Nevaeh Patyk, Jonnie Marht, Jaidyn Mann, Madison Patyk, and Kolby Hermanson (not pictured).

Due to girls state wrestling tournament injuries, state dual participants, and teams unable to attend our Cedar Bluffs Girls Wrestling Invitational this Saturday, February 8th, Cedar Bluffs has made the decision to cancel the tournament. FBLA MEMBERS- Next week we recognize all of the amazing things you have accomplished thus far with FBLA! We wanted everyone to be aware of the events next week, so you could plan ahead! Monday- "Mint" to be Monday! Check Your Lockers for signs and a sweet treat! Tuesday- Tied to FBLA Tuesday! Wear a Necktie or Bow Tie with your regular clothes to show off that you are "Tied" to FBLA! Mrs.Chrisman will have a box full of ties for you to choose from if you do not have your own! Wednesday- Wear your Gear Wednesday! Wear either FBLA or Wildcat gear on this day to show your FBLA & Cedar Bluffs Pride! Thursday- Throw up your hands Thursday! During our Homeroom FBLA Meeting, we will have a short Dance party to prepare for the dance at the State Leadership Conference! Friday- Free Food Friday! Mrs.Chrisman will be bringing breakfast treats for all FBLA members! Prizes will be given each day for the most Enthusiastic Member! Also, look for our Officer Spotlight outside Mrs.Chrisman's room, each day of the week!
