Power up! Our 3rd Book Blast Treasure Chest winner is Kate German! Congratulations! Did you know that Book Blast contributions help ensure all our students receive books? After your student earns all 10 books from the book list, additional contributions help provide more books for all our students, including those who don’t receive contributions. Your involvement makes a world of difference!

Here are some upcoming dates for things happening with CBHS activities!

The Kindergarten classes celebrated La Tomatina Festival (the world's largest food fight held in Spain) by throwing paper balls instead of the traditional tomatoes.

Great job to everyone who has completed the Treasure Map assignment in the last two days! We now have our 2nd Book Blast Treasure Chest winner. Congratulations to Bradley Stenger! If you have not completed your assignment, there's still time to get in on the drawings for the remaining Treasure Chests stuffed with cash and the iPad. Get in on the fun while building your home library!

Check point achieved! The 1st winner of the Book Blast Treasure Chest is Dash Sukstorf! Congratulations! Now, more treasure awaits ahead…. Ryan from Jostens was at school last week to visit with our seniors and sophomores.
Students and families will place all orders using the Jostens app/website.
Seniors must order their cap, gown, and tassel by Tuesday, August 22nd. There is no charge for the three items, but Jostens needs measurements to secure our order. All other items can be purchased any time families and students choose.
Sophomores wishing to receive their free item must order by the end of the day on Tuesday, August 22nd. Orders placed past Tuesday will be accepted, but no free item is included.
If you have any concerns or questions, please contact Mr. Brousek at greg.brousek@cbwildcats.org

Book Blast begins today! Spend 7 minutes tonight completing the Treasure Map to earn cool rewards, be entered to win prize drawings, and start building your home library. Invite 10+ friends and family members to earn your rewards and 15+ for a chance to win one of four Treasure Chests or an iPad! Visit http://bookblast.booksarefun.com/CedarBluffsES68015 and unlock your treasure! #BookBlast #UnlockTheTreasure

‘Book Blast’ Earns Students at Cedar Bluffs Elementary School New Books
Cedar Bluffs Elementary School is about to embark on a school-wide book drive unlike any other! Starting on 8/21/2023, the school will launch their Books Are Fun Book Blast. This literacy initiative helps our students build their home libraries while also helping the school to get more books and school supplies. No matter what, this program ensures all the students at the school will take home at least one new, fun, age-appropriate book for their home libraries. However, with the help of the community, friends, and family, students can earn up to 10 books!
How does this all work? Students send out invitations to friends and family members to help them reach their goal of taking home all 10 books on their grade-level list. So, if you receive an invitation from a student you know, please click on the link in the invitation and help that child by contributing on their personal contribution page. 100% of the contributions they receive first go towards the books on their book list and then help other students needing books too. Any remaining contributions after every student earns all 10 books will go toward more books for the school and classroom supplies. Let’s help Cedar Bluffs Elementary School reach their goal of every student taking home all 10 books!
If you don’t know a student at the school or receive an invitation to contribute, but you’d still like to help all students at Cedar Bluffs Elementary School take home more books, you can contribute at: https://bit.ly/CedarBluffsESCommunityContributionLink

Come out to the Volleyball Scrimmage Friday at 4:30pm! The team asks you bring a donation of a snack for the team to use for away games this year! Donation boxes will be in the East Entrance!
