FBLA will be doing our annual Trunk or Treat event again this year on Sunday, October 23rd from 2-4pm. We invite you all to come and bring your families. FBLA students are in charge of recruiting businesses to set up trunks at this event. Due to the condition of their course, Thayer Central has cancelled the cross country race for today. They are looking to reschedule at a later date.

Busy Saturday for the Wildcat Cross Country team! Lightning, once again, prevented a team long run, so the Wildcats took to the fitness center to get 45 minutes of continuous movement. After the workout the team traveled to Lincoln to watch the largest collegiate meet in Nebraska. Woody Greeno/Dirkson Invite never disappoints as 36 teams from Division 1 to junior college toed the line. Great atmosphere for our runners to experience!

GOODING will be performing at Cedar Bluffs Public Schools on Monday, September 19 at 1 p.m.!!! The band is also focused on promoting Financial Literacy as a component of the concerts they do at schools. After the concert, the band talks to students about the importance of saving, how compound interest works, why to stay away from payday lenders, and how it’s ‘rock n roll’ to have the financial freedom to live your dreams. This concert will be for students in grades 6-12.
