There will be a COMMUNITY wide assembly in the CBPS gym on August 30th from 2:15-3:15 over the topic of Responsible use of technology by anyone who uses computers, cell phones and any other digital devices.
The Director of Communications of the Nebraska Attorney General-Suzanne Gage will present over topics concerning appropriate use of social media, cell phone use, and looking at current technological trends!
We encourage parents and anyone in the community to come out on August 30th to help our youth empower smart choices in the digital world!


The Cheer Team is selling t-shirts to support them this year. Order forms will be in the office tomorrow to pick up. Order forms are due by September 7th.

Our Volleyball team can be seen at the Fort Calhoun Tournament today starting at 9:00am vs. Winnebago. It can be streamed through the NFHS network online.
Band will be marching at the state fair in Grand Island today also! Go Wildcats!

The Wildcat Cross Country team opened up their season on Thursday at the East Butler Invitational at Timber Point Recreational Area.
The boys placed 8th overall. The group was led by Graham. The sophomore placed 11th to set a new Cedar Bluffs course record at East Butler. Chris and Coday finished second and third on the team. Coday cut more than six minutes off his time from last season.
The girls team placed 9th overall. The girls were led by freshman Kathaleen who finished in 21st place. Her time also broke the previous school record.
All of our runners are working hard in their quest to become more fit.
Next Thursday the Wildcats travel to Waterloo to run in the Douglas County West Invitational.

The essential skills class practiced math skills and following directions by making edible dominoes. The students said they were tasty!


Preschool went on a nature scavenger hunt and made their very own nature bracelets yesterday in Mrs. Kolar’s class.

Come Cheer on the Wildcat Volleyball Team tonight at 7:00pm versus Oakland-Craig. Tonight is an NSAA Hall of Fame sponsored event. Admission is $6 for adults and $5 for students. Since it is an NSAA sponsored event, season passes are not accepted. Proceeds go to the NSAA Hall of Fame in Lincoln.
