This website can help those who need quality emergency child care find it. It is also a valuable tool for the hundreds of licensed child care professionals struggling to keep their businesses open. In celebration of our wonderful cafeteria staff and others helping to feed our students. Thank you! This coming Friday, May 1, is School Nutrition Association’s School Lunch Hero Day, an annual event to thank the School Nutrition front line workers across the country. It is a big deal to the cafeteria employees to feel appreciated and loved in an ordinary year, and this year they all are so deserving of extra special appreciation for figuring out how to keep school meals going out to students throughout extended school closures. THANK YOU FOR BEING A HERO!!!! Schwan’s has created the attached Thank You note and social post to promote their thank you for School Lunch Heroes. Dear Wildcat Family, Our school's Scrip program is a great fundraiser for our Pounding the Pavement program. A portion of the proceeds is also given to the Cedar Bluffs Education Foundation. We are about 1 month or so from rolling out our next phase of Scrip cards. We are looking for about 10 more individuals who would be willing to purchase cards online and then patiently wait 2 weeks or so to receive them. Jeff Bell, Becky Nielsen, Janelle Prchal, Cameo Sweeney, and Jen Wolsleben have already volunteered. We are trying to get all the kinks worked out of the system with a sample group before we roll it out to the entire community.
