Hello Parents and Seniors! I wanted to remind you that tomorrow, all Seniors will receive a catered lunch from Raising Canes beginning at 12:30 pm in the Library! Then, at 1:00 pm, Parents are invited to join us for an informative speech about the FASFA application, and then time to work on completing the app with the assistance of professionals. Please bring tax documents and student social security numbers to complete this application. As students finish applying for the FASFA, they will be asked to apply to at least one college of interest. After application to a college, there are several scholarships they will begin working on as well! There will also be free prizes and t-shirts for students as they check off these milestones from their list! We look forward to seeing you tomorrow! Please let me know if you have any questions! Thanks! Kate Chrisman Cedar Bluffs Public Schools College & Career Counselor Drama Coach, FBLA & Journalism Club Adviser 402-628-2080

We have been learning about farms and harvest. We’ve gotten to FaceTime a farmer that was harvesting and our pen pal family from Gothenburg sent us bean pods, corn, corn cobs, silage, and other farming products to touch and look at.

Parents, This is the new Kids First Program Bulletin Board that is located in the main hallway. Here you will find the weekly schedule for each age group, the teacher they are with, and their location for that day. We hope that this will make it easier for you to find your child when you come to the school. We will also be posting any Important information that may come up. We have also started a new reward system for the Kids First Program. The teachers have Wildcat Bucks cards to hand out to each student when they are seen showing our PRIDE characteristics. They write their name down and the card goes into a bucket. On Fridays we draw a name from each age group and they will get a prize and their picture taken which is hung up on the board. The teachers will also chose a Star student for the week that has set a great example for our students. That student will receive a prize, get their picture taken.
