Today, one of our most valued paraprofessionals, Ashley Callahan, was honored with a scholarship from the Nebraska Rural Schools Association to support her continued education on the path to becoming a teacher. We are incredibly proud of her and all she has accomplished!

Elementary had their PRIDE assembly today where the teachers performed a 12 days of Christmas skit, weekly award winners showing PRIDE characteristics were drawn, and Carols were sung! Three Teachers were also recognized for showing PRIDE this semester! Due to the short month, Formal Monthly PRIDE winners will be announced at the January Assembly and parents will be notified.
HS Basketball game times for tonight have changed! Due to sickness and injury, OCA is cancelling the girls game. Here is the updated schedule:

The student that was transported by Cedar Bluffs Fire and Rescue this morning and is resting comfortably at home.
During the Boys Basketball Game at Whiting tomorrow night, Whiting is hosting a Teddy Bear Toss. Please bring stuffed animals either to the game or to Mr. Brinkman at Cedar Bluffs High School by 3:00pm Friday. All stuffed animals will be donated to Toys for Tots.

The JAG classes are volunteering their time to wrap the giving tree presents this year. Students are learning the spirit of giving and the art of wrapping this week!

We have 55 elementary students who have opened Savings Accounts with the Wildcat Savers Branch! Collectively, they have saved nearly $2,000 in just a little over 8 weeks! A reminder that there will be NO deposits made tomorrow (12/18) but we are excited to kick off 2025 with more accounts and more deposits!
