
The Cedar Bluffs High School Track & Field team would like to invite you to spend your Saturday morning on November 18th at 10:30 a.m. with us to participate in our 1st annual Turkey Trot! Race your friends, the staff, kids or just spend the morning catching up with friends while completing a 1-mile fun run/walk campus loop or a 5k run (3.1 miles). Cedar Bluffs Schools Daycare is hiring! Come help out and have fun with a cool group of kids!


JH Boys Basketball starts Monday October 16th. Practices will run until 4:30pm. There will be a van back to Fremont YMCA for families that need help with transportation. Please contact Coach Kotrous with any questions. Excited for the season!

Thursday is the start of the high school conference volleyball tournament. We play 2 games that night starting at 5:00pm @ College View Academy in Lincoln. We play Cornerstone Christian for the first game. Win or lose we play another game later that night.

The Wildcat Marching Band traveled to the Bennington Marching Invitational Saturday and had a great time. They performed well and earned an excellent rating. Great job band!





Junior High volleyball girls were champions of the David City tournament this morning! Congrats girls!


Come out to the Band Friends and Family Night at Legion field at 6:00pm tonight! Mrs. Rehn and the Band have a fun night planned and are excited to perform for their friends and family!

All Junior high boys placed top 10. Ayden, Jordan, and Silas placed 3rd, 4th and 7th. If they gave out team awards for JH we would have placed first for our boys team! Audrey placed 5th for the girls.
Our high school boys' team got second in conference! Graham and Nash placed 3rd and 8th. Sam played a key role in our team award! Caitlin ran her first competition in a few weeks and competed hard!

The high school cross country team had the opportunity to visit with Cedar Bluffs alum John Kern '07.
John qualified for the Nebraska State Track and Field Championships three times during his high school career. He was the state Class D champion in both the 1 Mile and 2 Mile his senior year. John would graduate from Wayne State College participating all four years in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track. He place 12th in the National Outdoor Championships in the steeplechase his senior year.
John talked about the importance of self discipline, determination, mental toughness, the desire to get better, and goal setting.


The Wildcats are on the move this afternoon for competitions! Get out and support these great student athletes!
