Friday, December 15th is the last day of finals for middle and high school students. If students are completed with their finals and have checked out with staff and administration, they may leave at 12:00. Parent permission will be needed for students to leave early. Busses will run on a normal 1:30 release schedule.

Ms.J's first grade was able to get ahold of the big Jolly guy from the North Pole. We loved that Ms. Elly was able to capture the pure joy and magic on their faces.
Saunders County Youth Services wanted to share a significantly under used resource. (An estimated 289,000 Nebraskans qualify and only ~98,000 are utilizing it!)
Please refer families to the Affordable Connectivity Program – it’s $30 off of internet a month and other perks w/ cell phone service. Windstream high speed interent will ONLY cost $22 a month! Great deal and if Nebraska doesn’t use it, we lose it.

To qualify just have to meet one criteria:
Household income is at or below 200% FPL (for example: a family of 4 just has to make under $60,000 annually or $5,000 monthly);
Member of HH participates in any assistance programs: SNAP, Medicaid, Veterans Pension or Survivor Benefits, housing assistance, SSI, WIC, or Lifeline;
Participates in financial assistance types of tribal programs;
Participates in the free/reduced lunch program at school or the school breakfast program
Received a federal PELL grant during the current year
Meets other eligibility criteria for participating broadband providers

Miss Jane visited Mrs. Brousek's class today to help them with a winter craft. The students were thrilled to have her here!
Don't forget through the 15th, MS/HS is having a TOY DRIVE!!! Bring any new or lightly used toys to donate to the Salvation Army for Xmas!! They will be brought to Mrs. Snyders room during the 1st hour and I will store them and keep track of the grades that donate! Please help serve your community, what a great thing to do during this time of gift giving, give to those in need. The class that brings in the most will receive a coupon worth 10 extra points on an assignment/test and a warm cookie or 2 from the Kitchen staff. Go Wildcats!

Order forms will be sent home on Wednesday, December 6th. Completed order forms and payment are due on Monday, December 11th by noon.
