Congratulations to Carter Neubert on his participation at State Speech yesterday! He performed well and represented Cedar Bluffs with pride! Also, congratulations to the Cedar Speakers on a season completed! There were many successes and a lot of growth! Here to next year!

Cedar Bluffs Public School would like to formally invite you to the first every District 23 Town Hall Forum to be moderated by selected High School Students and their Government Instructor. It will be held at the Cedar Bluffs Public School Gymnasium on April 17, 2024. Doors will open at 6:30pm and the forum will begin promptly at 7pm. Only credentialed media are allowed to record the event. Moderators will screen questions from the audience to ensure that questions are applicable to all candidates, are not personal in nature, and address subjects relevant to the forum. All District 23 candidates have been invited and participants agree to follow the moderator’s instructions. This Town Hall Forum will follow a nonpartisan, unbiased and impartial format. This event is free and open to the public and media. Please bring your questions and join us for this evening of education led by the students of Cedar Bluffs.

Congrats to Cedar Bluffs/Mead winning their dual against Concordia of Omaha with a team score of 158! JV also won with a score of 195! Cedars low scorer was Carter Eiring placing 4th overall! Congrats golfers!

Congrats to our HS Boys and Girls Track teams for placing 3rd respectively at the NFC Indoor Meet today! A lot of individual conference medals coming home with the kids today! #WildcatPride

On Wednesday, Ms. Smoot's class got to enjoy the company of Humphrey in the classroom. We shared facts we knew about hamsters and learned a few new ones as well!

Congratulations to Addy Sweeney on breaking the school record yesterday in Long Jump at the Central City Invite. On her very first jump of the day and season she went 17'6" breaking the previous record set back in 1985 by Darcy Siebels of 17'5.25".

We have 3 students that have qualified for NSAA State Events next week. Today we celebrated them with a walk to state throughout the whole school! Good luck to Carter Neubert - State Speech (competes Thursday) &Lily Rich & Etania Peterson - All-State Band (performs Saturday).

Parents and students, mark your calendars for this Parent/Student meeting. This is intended for any 7-12 students who plan to play a sport during the 2024-2025 school year. During this meeting you'll get summer calendars, expectations, new NSAA rules for 24-25, and be able to complete the majority of paperwork for the following year.
