A team of two students, Tanner Kiefer and Lane Kremlacek, from Cedar Bluffs High School in Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska recently concluded an exceptional round of competition in the twelfth season of CyberPatriot – the Air Force Association’s National Youth Cyber Defense Competition.
Led by Coach Liz Black, the team of students from Cedar Bluffs High School excelled in the CyberPatriot XII State Round held in December, demonstrating teamwork, critical thinking, and technical skills needed for a successful career in cybersecurity. The team’s performance earned it Nebraska’s 3rd Place Award in the Gold Tier.
“Our team of two, led by senior Tanner Kiefer, worked as hard as they could as if they were a full team of 6 and were just shy of taking 2nd place. I am so proud of all of their dedication and perseverance,” gushes Coach Liz Black.
